La Pêche’s Fire Department Speaks on Spring Water Safety

La Pêche’s Fire Department sends a message to the public around spring water safety.   Étienne Langevin Robertson and Scott Taylor-Bosman talks about the dangers around the melting ice, with an overall message of staying off all ice surfaces.   With the ice melting and spring fever kicking in for La Pêche’s residents, these firefighters talk about how to dress for cold water and the importance of a proper fitting pfd.  Lasty, they speak of what to do if one witnesses someone falling thru the ice. 

La residents of La Pêche are so fortunate to have the beautiful Gatineau river running thru and these first responders are wanting to keep their residence safe on the water.  If you plan to venture out on the water have a listen.
