Group Zelo speaks about the public consultation process that took place in Wakefield and how they went about finding solutions regarding some of concerns that had been raised. Affordability was at the top of the list and because of these concerns, Zelo offered 8 units as affordable housing. Unfortunately, L’Office d'habitation de l'Outaouais felt that the units were overpriced which has resulted in the rescinding of the offer for the 8 units.
During the opening of sales, Chris was made aware that demands for types of units were different than they anticipated during the first phase. This prompted them to modify their plans to create more for this particular type of demand.
