PICKLEBALL

The Wakefield Pickleball is a program with  Centre Wakefield La Peche.  The Community Centre is a cooperative owned and managed by the members. Please join the cooperative to support the activities of the Center and pickleball. 

Joining means you are a lifetime member, with voting rights and access to special activities. Thanks for your support.

OUTDOOR PICKLEBALL

When weather permits we play pickleball outdoors at the Centre Wakefield La Peche on the skatepark/rink. There are five courts and you scheduled your time to play from Monday to Sunday.

INDOOR PICKLEBALL

At the Wakefield school gym

  1. Please join Centre Wakefield La Peche as a co-operative lifetime  member for $20.  join here
  2. If you do not know how to play Pickleball, you must take a training class before playing indoors at the gym: register here.
  3. You will be asked to fill  in the waiver and PAR-Q yearly. Please download the forms  and bring these to the gym. par-q.pdf(english) or Q-AAP.pdf (french) and the CWLP waiver 2022.docx (bilingual)
  4. The cost is $5 per session at the gym, we are using CWLP $5 coupons to avoid handling cash. Buy the coupons here  and pick them up at the GYM before your game.
  5. To register for a game,  join meetup and  select your time slots to play at  meetup.com/Wakefieldpickleball
  6. Remember: If you sign up  for a time slot on meetup and you do not show up - you still owe the $5.

Nous encourageons les joueurs de niveau moins avancé à participer au créneau horaire plus tôt, de 18h30 à 20h15, tandis que ceux plus expérimentés sont invités à jouer pendant le créneau horaire plus tardif, de 20h15 à 22h00. Organisé par Eric Anderson. (Âge 15+)

    Each time slot will last for 1.75 hours, with two slots available each evening. We encourage less experienced players to join the earlier time slot, from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM, while more experienced players are invited to play during the later time slot, from 8:15 PM to 10:00 PM. Le CWLP et l'entraîneur Greg Ross proposent un programme compétitif pour les joueurs de 8 ans et plus qui veulent aller plus loin que le plaisir et les fondamentaux. Ne vous inquiétez pas... nous nous amuserons toujours, mais les joueurs peuvent s'attendre à être mis au défi dans un environnement compétitif et à être initiés à un niveau d'entraînement plus élevé. (Âge : 7 à 12 ans)

CWLP and Coach Greg Ross are offering a competitive program for players 8 years and up that want to take their game beyond fun and fundamentals. Not to worry…we will still have fun but players can expect to be challenged in a competitive environment and introduced to a higher level of training. (Age: 7 to 12 years old)
