Ages 3-4

These classes are meant for the younger child and are designed as an introduction to movement and dance while using a wide variety of music. The purpose is not to teach them technique and proper steps but rather help them understand how their bodies move and how to use that movement as a form of expression, play, and eventually formal dancing. We will play games, tell stories, and engage in creative movement to help their little minds open up to different ways moving their bodies. We work on age appropriate movement skills to help develop coordination, spatial awareness, balance, and self confidence, and of course, there is always room for some free dance to let the children express themselves how they wish!
