Abby Karos - Program Manager
programme@centrewakefieldlapeche.ca

Abby is an education entrepreneur and restorative justice facilitator by trade. Based on community interest, some of what she would be excited to introduce or expand at CWLP includes restorative practices, intergenerational connection, youth empowerment, and volunteerism for all ages. Consider her your idea-engagement officer and make-things-happen manager!

Annie Rompré - Web & Communications
communications@centrewakefieldlapeche.ca

It's the vibrant community vibes, rich cultural scene, and plethora of outdoor activities that has brought me to Wakefield, where I've been settled for the past few years. I am a graphic designer with a background in marketing and communication - seeking to enhance experiences and create meaningful connections through digital interfaces. Certified in permaculture design, I try to weave sustainability both into my life and professional projects. I'm bilingual, I love to travel and in my spare time, you'll find me in the forest, hiking, biking and camping under the stars. I'm stoked at this amazing opportunity to get involved locally, contribute to community efforts and to join this amazing team.

Laura Birks - Client Service Manager
services@centrewakefieldlapeche.ca

Laura is our amazing Client Service Manager who's always thrilled to collaborate with new members of our community. With a laid-back and cheerful attitude, Laura organizes and executes events, making sure everything runs smoothly on the big day. With an impressive 25-year background in food and beverage hospitality, she's mastered the art of creating memorable experiences. Laura's expertise and genuine passion for creating unforgettable moments make her an exceptional asset to our team.

Claude Laroche - Technical Director
tech@centrewakefieldlapeche.ca

Claude has played a key role in CWLP’s resource in offering audio, visual and other technical performance services to those who hold events at the Centre and, most notably, Theatre Wakefield productions. He is the person you will see “in the booth” at almost every event. In the near future, Claude plans to mentor the community’s young and up-and-coming technical staff to ensure the high-quality productions that the Centre has become known for continue.

We acknowledge, recognize, and respect that we live, work, learn and play within the traditional unceded, unsurrendered territory of the  Anishinaabe Algonquin People.
