In April 2015, the CLD des Collines-de-l'Outaouais, Commerce Chelsea, SADC de Papineau, Wakefield La Pêche Chamber, Tourisme Outaouais, the Municipality of Chelsea, the Municipality of La Pêche along with the Gatineau Park mandated the firm Zins Beauchesne and Associates to conduct a study and strategic planning for tourism and recreation for the tourism pole Chelsea, Wakefield and Gatineau Park.

The study has now been completed and provides a portrait of the current situation of tourism in the Gatineau Park and in the municipalities of La Pêche and Chelsea. It also brings new avenues for development in the recreation and tourism industry in the region. Partners are now ready to present those results and request the participation of actors working in the recreation and tourism industry in the region.
