Theatre Wakefield presents Scene One, an evening of short performances by local youth and adults!
3 groups of local Chelsea and Wakefield youth will present 3 short plays - or rather, first scenes of imagined plays. Following an improv-filled intermission, authors from Theatre Wakefield's New Works program will present staged readings of the firsts scene of their plays. The evening will end with a talkback with the performers, as well as a panel with theatre professionals.
Admission is $10 and the evening is a fundraiser for Theatre Camp. Tickets are available at these outlets: Centre Wakefield La Pêche, La Tulipe Noire, The Wakefield Express, and La Forêt.
Tickets will also be available at the door.
We acknowledge, recognize, and respect that we live, work, learn and play within the traditional unceeded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin People.
