With guest facilitators Anne Valcov and Don Grant, instructor-trainers for the Gatineau Ski Patrol and certified in Advanced First-Aid.
This Information Session will outline what to do during a medical emergency while answering the following questions:
• What are the signs and symptoms of a stroke, a heart attack or dehydration?
• In an emergency, what is the first thing you should do?
• How do you get up from a fall or help someone who has fallen?
• What is a defibrillator and how should you use one?
Resources will be available on-site and refreshments will be served.
